The bottom line is this:
That the African National Congress was a revolutionary party. Built to defy the laws of the apartheid government & circumvent the system.
However, after winning the elections they never changed their operating style… their mindsets of defying law & circumventing the system.
They never adapted from being a revolutionary party into a political party. As a result… they continued to defy the law & circumvent the system in order to enriched themselves plentifully at the expense of the citizens. However… in a democratic society this is called… corruption!
Yes Jacob… don’t act like you didn’t know.
A revolutionary party in a post revolutionary era is doomed to become the evil that they were fighting. Sad but true. look at Sadaam, Castro, Mugabe… we as the youth need to make these people understand that the torch of the struggle needs to be laid to rest.
You can’t walk out of a dark tunnel, into the lite of the sun & keep carrying your torch around with you… in memory of the darkness. That is kind of stupid.
The revolution is ours now guys. These torch wielding, mchini wam singing, shower taking, fat stomach, BEE motherfuckers have set the country alight… in loving memory of the darkness & are holding us to ransom.
Think of what happens when you hold on to the memory of your ex… you become bitter & vengeful. You don’t & can’t move on. And depending on your disposition, you might even want to make everyone around you suffer… because you had to suffer.
Is that not what the ANC are doing? Is that not what they are about?
Thabo Mbeki was trying to lead them towards continuing to be a South African government & not the ANC government. But his ego & the political mine field around him exploded & it’s all going up in flames.
The split that resulted was inevitable. Half the ANC wanted to build a society that encourages black people to strive to achieve success by creating a black middle and upper class.
The other half, aka the mchini waving contingent, however want to drown in gravy on the train that is their new Babylon
while they dupe the masses at rally after rally with false promises of a better life for all.
They want to spend our tax money on Mercs for their wives, Toyota Yaris’s for their daughters & BMW 1 Series’s for the women that allow them to buy their bodies (there is a word for that…).
They want government banquets instead of modest dinners.
Chaotic & extravagant conferences instead of normal meetings.
This crap is hitting a fan that has spun out of control.
Are we not being covertly oppressed by the liberation movement because they are trying to liberate the country to the point that they are the only form of government?
To quote Aaron Ekharts Harvey Dent:
“You either die a martyr or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.”
Damn! The road to hell is paved with good intentions… i wonder what JZ sees when he looks in the mirror standing in his boxer shorts, running a shower on one hand & holding a bottle of baby oil in the other…
I doubt he has time for revelations between power cuts, court cases & concerts for Gupta Records. After all it’s been hit after hit for Gupta Records lately. Jzisto ft Young Dudu & The Premier League is all we hear on the radio.
I for one am sick of the sound. My question to you guys is, what are you going to do to save your country?
What are you going to do to save your freedom, friends, opportunities and your future now that the truth is black & white… now that the truth of what is at stake is before you?
The greatest evil is when bad things happen & good people stand around & do nothing.
Now I dont hate ANC (well maybe Jacob Zumas ANC…) & Im not a DA supporter or an EFF fighter or aligned to any of the parties at play…
But I am a South African Citizen. I am a patriot that loves my country. And I think its time that we exercised our democratic right to roundhouse kick these moemishing mamparas off the podium of respect that is meant for our governing, NOT RULING, party.
To quote Heath Ledgers Joker (because The Dark Knigth was awesome):
“This town needs a better class of criminal… Im gonna give it to them.”
Disturbing as it is this seems to be our mantra for selecting leaders.
But how much longer are we going to be able to live with the consequences?
How much longer are we going to sit quietly in the passenger seat while we watch as our blind, drunk, incompetent driver & his bus co steer us off a cliff & into a chasm?
I think this town needs a better class of consciousness… I’m going to help awaken it.
